Data Center 4 – Confidential Client

This project included design assistance, furnishing, and installation of three 2500-ampere electrical rails serving 2500-ampere utility services. Existing generators were reused and retrofitted with new EMCPs, battery chargers, jacket heaters, and remote radiators. The electrical distribution system included a 3000-ampere isolation bypass Automatic Transfer Switch, a 3000-ampere switchboard feeding Uninterruptible Power Supply and mechanical distribution switchboards, and Uninterruptible Power Supply systems with 15-minute end-of-life flooded cell batteries and battery monitoring. Additional equipment included a 1600-ampere Uninterruptible Power Supply bypass/output switchboard, two 600-ampere Static Transfer Switches, and related output switchboards. All systems were installed in existing building spaces, requiring phased construction based on available space and load cutover constraints. Replacement of the fire alarm system was later added and completed concurrently with the original project.
