Nestle Dynasty Coffeemate Creamer Plant
The new Coffeemate Creamer production facility is only the second of its kind in the United States and was strategically located to serve the western half of the country. Designed to meet strict Nestlé Foods standards, the facility brings together a wide variety of specialized environments—from hygienic stainless steel wash-down zones to complex industrial systems—showcasing both scale and versatility.
This project also demonstrated the strength of the ONEArchKey model, with teams from three ArchKey offices working seamlessly together to deliver a facility that meets the highest standards of food-grade compliance, efficiency, and reliability.
Scope of Work
ArchKey’s scope on this project was extensive, highlighted by the installation of more than ten miles of medium-voltage cable, powering eight double-ended unit substations and requiring over 200 medium-voltage terminations. The facility spans a diverse range of spaces, including commercial offices, a utility block, a railroad unload building, and a Water Recycling Facility—all built to rigorous food-grade standards with features like standoff brackets and wash-down-compatible conduit and cable trays.
To ensure precision and efficiency, ArchKey applied advanced technologies and prefabrication techniques. Trimble was used to set indoor and outdoor lighting layouts with accuracy, while prefabrication streamlined delivery of ductbanks, underground racks, and lighting whips—all installed through a one-lift process with twist-lock and aircraft cabling. Digital tools such as Project Place were utilized for shop drawing tracking, and open space modeling allowed real-time verification of installations against the model.
The result is a modern production facility that not only meets Nestlé’s strict standards but also sets a new benchmark for collaboration, innovation, and efficiency in food and beverage infrastructure.
